Play Grounds

Play is part of learning at Queensland Academy. Our open play areas give students space to run, play team sports, and take a break from class. Supervised break times and PE lessons help students stay active, build teamwork, and develop motor skills. We use the playgrounds for football, athletics, and inter-house sports. For younger students, we have a safe play area with age-appropriate equipment. Every activity is supervised by staff to keep it fun and safe.

What the playgrounds support:

Football Academy

Children Fun Zone

Our Football Academy runs after school for students who want to develop their skills. Trained coaches run drills on ball control, passing, and teamwork twice a week on our school pitch. We enter students for inter-school competitions and scout promising players for local youth teams. It’s open to Primary 4 and above.

The Fun Zone is a supervised play area for Nursery and Primary 1-3 students. It has safe equipment, sand play, and guided games that build coordination and social skills. Students use it during break time and after school while waiting for pickup. Every session is monitored by staff.
