Our Meeting Hall is the central space for school events, assemblies, parent meetings, and student presentations. It’s a spacious, well-ventilated hall designed to bring the whole Queensland Academy community together. We use the hall for weekly assemblies, award ceremonies, cultural days, career talks, and PTA meetings. The space is equipped with a sound system and projector to make presentations clear and engaging for both students and parents.
Key Features :
At Queensland Academy, we combine experienced teachers with modern tools to make lessons stick. Our classrooms use smart boards and projectors for visual learning in Math, Science, and English. Students get to interact with content, ask questions in real time, and work in groups. The result is a class that’s active, not passive.
Our annual Science Exhibition gives students from Primary 3 to SS3 a chance to turn ideas into real projects. Kids build models, run simple experiments, and explain their work to parents and judges. It builds curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills that go beyond the exam hall.
Registration opens in March and July each year. Visit any Queensland Academy campus or register online. Early registration secures your child’s spot and uniform size.
We hire qualified teachers as vacancies open. Submit your CV and teaching certificates to hr@queenslandacademy.edu.ng. NCE, B.Ed, and TRCN certification are required for core subjects.
Report cards go out at the end of each term. BECE, WAEC, and NECO certificates are issued by the exam bodies after results are released, usually 2-4 months later. We notify parents as soon as they’re ready for collection.
